Q. How often am I charged?
A. As stated HouseMAXX™ only charges you a One-Time LOW Flat
Fee, No Commissions! No Time Limits (On Option 3). There is also a low renewal fee in Listing
Option 1 and 2. Please email us for details as to cost.
Q. How do I advertise my property in conjunction with HouseMAXX ?
A. It's as easy as placing a three line classified ad in your
local newspaper and using your property id number in your ad. i.e.

Q. How do I know how many people have viewed my property?
A. All you have to do is log-in to the website with your
administration username and password. On your listing you will find
a "Hit-Counter" for your specific property.
Q. Are
you the same as a Real Estate Agent or Broker?
A. NO. HouseMAXX™ is a 'For Sale By Owner' advertising service that brings all for sale by owners together into one place giving them maximum exposure and saving them maximum equity. HouseMAXX™ is NOT affiliated nor associated with any other real estate company or broker. HouseMAXX™ represents neither the buyer nor the seller and receives no fees or commissions once the listed properties are sold. HouseMAXX™ has created our own database system of "For Sale By Owner" properties from around the world and that is why we can save you thousands in real estate fees without using the Real Estate multiple listing systems and paying high commissions.
Q. Does it cost anything to change the text on my listing
or to add new pictures?
A. NO, All you have to do is go to the edit/modify my listing icon on the website and your changes go live immediately. You can change description, price etc. (You are only allowed to attach specified # of pictures as per Listing Option 1, 2 or 3) If you are emailing pictures, please send them in .jpeg format size 300 x 225 pixels. (Subject to charge if photos are not formatted correctly.)
Q. Do you provide any assistance or counsel on how to sell
my property?
A. HouseMAXX™ provides a Buyer/Seller resource section that connects you to lawyers, appraisers, inspectors
and mortgage brokers etc. You can also find tips for sellers and how to prepare
your property for sale guides. We will provide a link that you can order an
“Offer
to Purchase Agreement”
or you can purchase one from your local Office Depot or Staples outlet. Selling
you property with HouseMAXX™ is as easy as negotiating the price with your
prospective buyers, signing the offer to purchase agreement and both parties
taking a copy to their respective lawyers to finalize the deal. It's easy, fast and simple with HouseMAXX™!
Q. How Fast will my property be posted to the HouseMAXX™ website?
A. From the time your advertising is confirmed and you download your digital pictures (Option1, 2 or 3) and/or our professional photographer has shot your property, it is usually posted to the site immediately. Please note that all payments must be via online secure payment system or if by cheque or money order it must be received within 6 business days or your listing will be suspended until payment is received.
Q. How do I get a Description/Seller Sheet to give to Potential
Buyers?
A. You simply print it off the website from your HouseMAXX™ Online Tour Listing - You can print as many as you need and as often as you wish without any cost to hand out to prospective buyers or pin up at your local grocery store. (There are different styles to choose from – it’s your choice!)
Q. How long does my property stay listed on HouseMAXX™?
A. As stated in the listing options page, there are 3 Options: Option 1 gives you 6 months, Option 2 gives you 6 months and Option 3 gives you unlimited time or until your property SELLS! Options 1 and 2 offers a deep discounted rate to re-list or renew your ad after the time period is up and Option 3 requires that you notify us every 6 months to continue your listing at no additional charge. We request that all clients notify us as to when property sells, or go to the edit/modify button and put SOLD on the description of your property and Closed in "For Sale" area.
Q. Who takes the digital photos?
A. Photography is ONLY available in cities where there is a HouseMAXX™ Representative. If you require a photographer to do a photo shoot, there is usually a minimum charge of $25+ depending on geography, distance and availability.
Q. How does your Guarantee work?
A. We guarantee that your house will be posted to the site
and will remain on the site as long as you have abided by the conditions/time
limits set out in Listing Options 1, 2 and 3 and all fees are paid in full. We essentially guarantee that if you sell your property through HouseMAXX™ that you will save literally
thousands in real estate commissions!
Q. What do I do when my Property SELLS or How do I cancel
my advertisement?
A. It’s as simple as going to the edit/modify icon/link on the HouseMAXX™ website and using your username and pass code and deleting your listings or posting a SOLD sign on it. Please notify us by phone or Email.
Q. Are the Front Yard signs and other signs mine to keep?
A. No, they are the property of HouseMAXX™ and must be returned after the property has been SOLD. If there is representation in your area or we have to come out and take photos, we will gladly install your signs for you, however, if not, we will send you your signs and you can install them yourself within minutes. All clients are responsible to take care of Signage and watch for vandalism and/or theft as signs cost $$$$. Please report any incidents to us immediately. Damaged signs or stolen signs will incur a charge. Thank You.
